California Tripping.

Just returned from a couple weeks of driving up the coast in search for waves and wind. The trip was part of North Kiteboarding West Coast tour. Incredible luck finding waves and winds and amazing sessions with Danny, Luke and Jake.

where the streets have no name.

Last weekend, my son, a couple friends and I, spent the night in Joshua Tree National park.
After dinner, in complete darkness we ventured off and snapped a few pictures. Well, more like a shitload of pictures... All the shots where taken without tripod, with exposure times ranging from 30 seconds up to a minute and 15 seconds.

This is not a sunset, but a moon rise!

A first!

I had the honor to make this wallet for a SEAL friend of mine. Really happy the way it turned out, and it sparked another military type project. It is fun to see my military background and leather work converging.

Wallet

Kiya, from self edge was kind enough to help me source out some incredible denim from white Oak in North Carolina. White Oak selvedge denim is woven on true vintage looms, using sixty years old technology. It gives the fabric a unique character that can not be duplicated on modern weaving machine.
It was only a matter of time until, my leather and this denim would meet.

I went to LA the other day to hang out with some friends. Spent the day with Farhad, and played with the new camera.
